Tonight we will hopefully put the final touches on “O Bone Jesu”, and have it ready for Mass, along with the Simple English Propers for the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time.  ”O Bone” is a great piece to sing throughout the Liturgical year, given it’s general petitionary theme, but we will use it mostly during Lent:

O bone Jesu, miserere nobis, quia tu creasti nos, tu redemisti nos sanguine tuo praetiosissimo.

English:

O gracious Jesus, have mercy on us, because You have created us and redeemed us with Your most precious blood.

Schola will continue working on the Durufle, and review our current working reprtoire.
